Alanna Goldman

Co-Founder & CEO

Alanna's enthusiasm for launching 5wins is built on her desire to share the ways women's sports inspire us, and to connect women's sports fans. Alanna holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and credits the Wisconsin Volleyball team for helping to fully immerse her into the world of women's sports. Prior to co-founding 5wins, she worked as a consultant in Washington D.C., supporting domestic federal communications.

Doug Frazier

Co-Founder & CSO

Doug grew up playing basketball in the DC area. In high school, he played in the Maryland State Finals and then briefly at the University of Miami. Doug transferred the focus and planning skills he gained as an athlete to the business world. At 29 he started EQE International which he grew to be one of the largest global risk management companies. Following EQE, Doug co-founded and was Chairman of EQECAT, a software company, and Safehub, a risk technology company.

Lee Siegel

Media Advisor

Lee is an Emmy Award-winning Broadcast Executive/Producer. He started his career working at ESPN. Lee was also part of the startup team at the Golf Channel and the news unit at NBC Sports Bay Area. His broad range of experience includes producing over 1000 news programs, field producing 100 plus events, handling operations for remote events, working closely with sponsors, sales, and marketing teams. And yes, Lee is passionate about sports.

Melana Hammel

Technical Advisor

Melana is a former Princeton Track & Field middle-distance runner and lifelong supporter of women's sports. She is passionate about fighting for pay equity, access to training facilities and resources, increasing coverage of women's sports, and building community. Melana has a BA in Computer Science and experience working as a software engineer on the Nike SNKRS app.
